so i just had a random desire to post on here. it's been a while since the last one;) haha. life is great for me right now. my semester is going rather smoothly and i LOVE having some extra time to actually enjoy my last semester of college life. Woohoo! I can't even believe that I'm outta here in only 51 days. I'm so ready, let me tell ya. I've had it with college and i'm ready to move on to what God has for me. I'm not really sure what that is exactly, but I'm so excited because I know He's got it and I get to trust Him and enjoy the ride. I have applied for an internship in DC with the Leadership Institute and I'm looking into other options in or around that area. I love that city and I am rather excited about the opportunity to live there for a bit. After that, I'm thinking maybe VA....maybe Lynchburg since a certain someone is going to be going to grad school there at Liberty yeah life is good. God has definitely blessed me more than I ever thought possible.

i'm still working at outback when i'm in cedarville, but i have a lot of stuff planned for the next month. I'm not really into this whole work business, i'd much rather hang out with friends and have fun...after all, it is my LAST SEMESTER!!! Next weekend, I'm going to Akron to see Linz and then to MI to hang with Bek and the following weekend I get to see Liz and Val. I'm pretty excited about seeing all these friends that I haven't seen in over a year. Good times ahead!!

there's a ton more going on in my life...but no time to write on xanga about it, if you're that interested, you know where to call. peace out xanga world!

do you ever really really want to sleep but just can't fall asleep? yeah that's me right now, I have to be up in 4 hours for church and I have to work tomorrow night (well actually tonight), but i freakin' can't sleep. i don't know what my problem is. I think the whole caffeine addiction might have gone too far...i want to sleep!! oh well, i figured since my xanga has gotten so pathetic that my sister is updating for me, i might as well give a little update on what has been going on in my life the past 2 months.

wow is all i can say. 6 classes completely finished and 2 more finals to go on Thursday and the summer from you know where is over. after August 18, I will have officially completed 30 credit hours in the space of 3 months. not too bad, i guess. haha.  i would never recommend it to anyone and i would never ever do it again, but I survived by the grace of God. it's amazing to look back and see how many times i thought that i couldn't make it and then...God's incredibly sufficient grace gave me the strength to persevere. I must say that my mom has been absolutely amazing too. She bought me my favorite foods, left me encouraging notes, and even made my favorite dinners to help me through the rough days. my mom is the best and i'm really going to miss her when i go back to school. i'm pretty sure  i wouldn't have made it through the summer without her. While classes have been pretty intense, it has been so nice to be able to spend time with my sister. we've had some good times, that's for sure. she's the coolest ever! My bro has been gone a lot and i wish i could have had more time to hang out with him before i go back to school, but i guess that's how it goes.

I'm going back to Cedarville in 6 days, I don't even believe it. I do not feel at all ready to begin another semester there. I'm sure I'll be ok once i get there, but right now all i really wanna do is lay on a beach, drinkin' a starbucks frap, enjoying the sun, and doing whatever it is i wanna do.  yeah so that's not gonna happen, i better get ready for school. it's going to be even crazier than last semester. wow. don't really want to think about it, so i'm not going to. I'm going to try to get some sleep now. hope everyone is doing well. peace out yos

well folks, it happened. the fateful day that i foolishly thought would never arrive came on Saturday...yes it's true. i got my first ever speeding ticket. $130 freakin' big ones and yeah it sucks. It was pretty much the crappiest day ever and this just made it 10 times better. The cop was not very nice and who freakin' gives $130 dollar tickets when it's the first offense anyways? oh my gosh. and then the day went from bad to worse because i got really really sick at work and started puking in the bathroom and that's always fun when that happens. let me tell ya. it was a great day in the life of Julianne.

but ya know what? I've been learning a lot. bad days are gonna happen, but God's still in control and He's still at work regardless of what i think or feel and that is awesome. I have an amazing hope because I have an amazing God. that alone makes life worth living. but man is it ever hard to keep that perspective. talk about a constant battle to keep my focus on Christ and not myself. but it's so worth it, because a closer relationship with Christ is what I long for and definitely what I need. so that's my goal...forgetting those things which are behind, I press forward that I might receive the prize of the high calling of Christ Jesus.

guess it's time for the monthly update...haha. crazy times in the life of me. classes suck hardcore, but only 2 months and then...more classes. woop woop! i keep telling myself that it's going to be worth it when i graduate in May, but it's kinda hard to keep that as my focus. oh geez. life is just too fun sometimes. I did get approved to live off campus at Cville next semester so that is a good thing. I'm pretty pumped that I don't have to live in the dorms ever again! woohoo! yeah, it feels good to be a senior!

In other crazy news, my bro was in London today when all those explosions happened and he was even on the tube (the London Underground metro system) when the bombs went off. Thankfully, they went off in a different part than where he was at but holy crap! crazy stuff. God definitely was protecting him and the rest of the missions team he was with. He made it home safely and I am so glad. And he says the trip was amazing, of course I knew it was going to be all along. I love London and there is no way you can go for a visit and not have an amazing time!

There really isn't all that much else going on with me. Work, study, study, study, and occasionally eat and sleep I'm going down to Cville tonight to visit a certain someone. Should be good times Anyways, hope everyone is doing well and having an awesome summer. peace out.
